Gas Pressure Washers for Outdoors & Mobile Cleaning
A gas pressure washer gives you full cleaning power without needing an outlet, a long extension cord, or a dedicated wash bay. That makes gas the go-to choice for crews that clean where the work is: construction sites, equipment yards, farms, fleet lots, and building exteriors.
Gas engines also handle higher flow rates than most portable electric units, so you can clean large surfaces and heavy equipment faster. For outdoor work that moves from site to site, gas is usually the most practical option.
How to Choose the Right Gas Pressure Washer
PSI breaks dirt loose; GPM rinses it away. For heavy equipment and large concrete areas, higher GPM usually saves more time than higher PSI alone.
Hot water or cold water. Cold water handles dirt, mud, and general cleaning. If you’re cleaning grease, oil, or hydraulic fluid off equipment, a hot water unit will clean faster with less chemical.
Direct drive or belt drive. Direct drive units are lighter and more affordable, which suits intermittent use. Belt drive units run the pump at lower RPM, so they hold up better when the machine runs for hours a day.
Portable or skid-mounted. Portable units roll easily between jobs. Skid-mounted units are built to mount on a truck or trailer, giving mobile crews a complete wash setup they can take anywhere.

Gas Pressure Washer FAQs
Can I use a gas pressure washer indoors?
No. Gas engines produce carbon monoxide, so they should only run outdoors or in well-ventilated open areas. For indoor wash bays or enclosed spaces, an electric or stationary unit is the safer choice.
How does a gas hot water pressure washer heat the water?
The gas engine drives the pump, and a separate burner heats the water. On most portable hot water units, the burner runs on diesel or kerosene, so you’ll keep two fuels on hand.
What maintenance does a gas pressure washer need?
Plan on regular engine oil changes, pump oil checks, air filter cleaning, and inspecting hoses and nozzles. Before cold weather, winterize the pump to prevent freeze damage.
Should I mount my pressure washer on a trailer?
If you clean at multiple locations, a trailer or truck-mounted skid unit with a water tank and hose reel saves setup time at every stop. We can build a complete trailer package around the washer you choose.
